Eagle Awards
Every Friday during Rise and Shine (announcements), one student per classroom is recognized as the Eagle of the Week. This award recognizes students who are working hard to show important life skills such as cooperation, effort, kindness and integrity. Students are also recognized for positive office referrals which are given for being an excellent student. Principal Rachel Eastman calls parents to let them know their child is doing awesome at school. All awardees take a photo in front of the Eagle.

With the help of the Derby community and surrounding communities, Operation Holiday provides individuals and families non-perishable food, vouchers for perishable food, and toys and gift cards.
