Principal's Message

Greetings Cooper Families!

What an exciting time it is to be part of the Cooper Eagle team!  We look forward to partnering with you as we support all learners in their academic journey.  I am confident you will find the staff at Cooper Elementary to be passionate about teaching and learning.  Our state of the art building is designed to nurture the curiosity and collaborative spirit of all students and serves as the "Nest" of Cooper as we inspire students to "SOAR (Safety, Ownership, Achievement, Respect).  

During a previous school year, we worked as a community to articulate our Pulse (Mission), Vision, and Common Belief Statements.  These guide our work and decisions and express our strong desire to support all students.  

Fall 2024 begins my 20th year in education. I have had the opportunity to work in Derby, Wichita, San Francisco and Austin, TX. My passion for building strong social, emotional and academic skills is evident throughout my work. We seek to build a strong learning community which supports the learning and growth of all. I am the proud Mom of Makai, a 6th grader, who loves learning, baseball, fishing, science and animals! You will most likely find me at the baseball field or fishing at a lake when I am not at school. 

We look forward to working with you and your student(s)! Thank you for sharing your children with us, and thank you for partnering in education with us. It is an honor to be the leader of Cooper Elementary!
